BEAR MOUNTAIN LODGE - March 2023

We're Getting Ready for Spring

Lodge News:
We were looking through old guest books and found this cartoon. It stills makes us smile.

A flock of Redwing Blackbirds showed up the other day. Their chatter was so loud you could here them all the way from barn to the Lodge. My sister has seen Rubycrown Kinglets, Robins, Townsend's Solitaire, and the big one, a Bald Eagle at her feeding station.
Everyone and everything is excited Spring is on the way.

Cafe News:
We had cracker class. It was fun! See Ramona below enjoying the fruits of her labors.
The next class is a Pistachio Pie with Orange Blossom Ice Cream. Our spin on a traditional Italian nut tart. March 8th at 10:00 with a nice lunch to include pistachio pie and ice cream. Twenty-five dollars per person. Call or email for your spot. Limited to eight participants.

We are hosting the Tucson Museum of Art on March 4th for a very special wine pairing dinner. We hope you can join us.

We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day with dinner on March 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.
We had extended days for Valentine's Day Dinner this past month and it worked wonderfully.
The dining room was not too full and everyone could just relax and enjoy.
The menu for St. Patrick's Day is on the website.

Gallery News:
We are working on platters for the Chris McDaniel's Bear Mountain Lodge dinnerware.
We are starting with a dragonfly platter and an owl platter. They should be here in June.
We are having a tour of Chris' studio on March 4th at 1:00. Let us know if you'd like to join us. Call: 575 538 2538 or email: info@bearmountainldoge.com.

Barn News:
