Blue Dome Gallery has been Silver City's premier site for fine craft and visual art since its inception in 1999. Each piece we display reflects the care and creative force of its artist. Our painters, sculptors, jewelers, furniture makers, glass artists, and potters are known for their excellent craftsmanship and style. We are proud to personally know each of the artists we represent, and happy to show both established and experimental work. Let us introduce you to
Blue Dome artists and assist with your collection.
See a great show of John McNulty's clay work. Come and visit with John and the Bear Mountain Lodge Gang 4:00-6:30pm. Have a laugh and see the new work.
Karen has been commissioned to make a bench for the Lodge, which she will construct a cement maché bench for the property composed of plastic bottles and other recycled material in the shape of an animal with cement mache on the surface. Her work is always interesting, inventive, and original. Please stop by to see the progress and the magic.

Please join us to celebrate the premier of this new book, Essays by Charles Bowden, Philip Connors, Dave Foreman, Jorge Garcia, John Horning, Victor Masayesva, Jr., Guy McPherson, Alex G. Muñoz Jr., Sharman Apt Russell, M. H. Salmon, Patrick Toomay and others. Photographs by Michael P. Berman. This book samples the wide range of personal and strongly held visions this Wilderness inspires. The collection of essays is paired with a compilation of images by award-winning local artist and Guggenheim Fellow, Michael P. Berman. His black and white photographs of the Gila Wilderness offer a wordless exploration into this complex and subtle landscape.
A selection of Michael's photographs from the book will be displayed in the gallery and throughout the Lodge. This exiting show of photographs are from our Gila Wilderness; not only are they beautiful but the images reveal just some of the reasons we love this unique place. Please come and celebrate with us. Refreshments and appetizers will abound. Books will be available for purchase. All proceeds from book sales will benefit the Gila Conservation Coalition.

The altar is created on October 15; Celebration is November 1 and 2.
Please come to the Lodge and enjoy.
