from Albuquerque
Take
I25 south from Albuquerque. Fifteen miles south of Truth or Consequence,
take NM 152 west to Silver City. (Note: This is a winding mountain
road with great views. However, road conditions in winter may
be hazardous. An alternate route from I25 is through Hatch, NM
- please see directions below.) NM 152 becomes US 180 and this
road will take you to the center of town. In
Silver City, US 180 takes a right turn at Sun Valley Hardware and Sonic Drive-In.
Then turn right on Alabama St. (This street becomes Cottage San
Road) Drive north 2.8 miles along Cottage San Road and the road
to Bear Mountain Lodge is marked to your left.

Directions from Albuquerque via Hatch, New Mexico
Take I 25 south to Hatch, NM and exit onto NM 26 south to Deming.
A few miles before you reach Deming, NM 26 intersects with US
180. Take US 180 north to Silver City. Once in Silver City continue
on US 180. (Note: US 180 takes a right turn at Sun Valley Hardware and Sonic Drive-In.) Turn
right (north) on Alabama St. (This becomes Cottage San Road) Travel
north 2.8 miles and the road to Bear Mountain Lodge is marked
to your left.

Take
Interstate 10 west to Deming, NM. Exit to US 180 north to Silver

Alabama St. (This becomes Cottage San Road) Travel north 2.8 miles

from Tucson, Arizona
Take Interstate 10 east to Lordsburg, NM. From there take
NM 90 to Silver City. Once in town, NM 90 becomes Hudson Street.
Drive north on Hudson and turn left (west) onto US 180. Go
to Alabama St. and turn right (north) Alabama St. turns into Cottage
San Road. Drive north 2.8 miles and the road to Bear Mountain
Lodge is marked to your left.
